Learn how to build a fully functional, search-optimized website in WordPress in online, interactive, step-by-step virtual classes from the safety and comfort of home:

Session I - WordPress Dashboard and Plugins
You’ll receive a login to your own WordPress website with hosting and domain (URL) included. We will show you around the WordPress dashboard and you will install several plugins, including premium plugins at no additional cost.
Session II - Theme Customization, Build a Home Page
We are including a premium drag-and-drop webpage builder at no additional cost. We will show you how to customize this theme with your own logo, style and color preferences and build our first page!
Session III - Keywords, Meta Titles, Widgets, MailChimp
You will get a crash course in SEO (search engine optimization) including how to find keywords that will help people find your website! Learn how to write meta titles and descriptions, build widgets for sidebars and footers and integrate your site with a free MailChimp account for email marketing.
Session IV - Product Page, Lead Form, Content Tools
We’ll walk through building a product or service page, building CTA (call to action) forms in Gravity Forms to generate leads or get feedback and use Yoast to improve the quality of the content we put online for real people and SEO (search engine optimization). No images? No problem! We will supply licensed stock imagery, image placeholders and image templates to make it easier and faster for you.
Session V - About Us Page, Featured Images, Simple Video
We will build an “About Us” page, load in on-page and featured images that also help with online search and branding, and we will show you how to turn a simple PowerPoint slideshow into a video that increases engagement and helps with SEO (search engine optimization).
Session VI - Blogging and Social Media
We’ll help you write a blog post that you can share online to help drive traffic to your website, and which also helps with search optimization by using keywords and ascribing authority back to your other pages. You’ll install social media sharing buttons and configure them on your blog posts and pages and we will share a sample content marketing calendar that shows you how you can promote your website’s pages and posts on social media.
Session VII - Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools

What good is web traffic if you can’t measure it! We will help you set up Google Analytics and Webmaster tools so that it tracks your site’s web traffic and lead forms and give you a tracking spreadsheet you can use to measure your website’s traffic and leads over time. You’ll see how you can use these tools to discover new keywords to incorporate into new web pages and blog posts.
Session VIII - (Optional Add-On) Shopping Cart and Payment Integration
We’ll install the WooCommerce plugin and show you how to connect it to Paypal so you can earn money through online sales. We will build out product listings that are optimized for search and show you how to organize an online shop.
